It’s official, boys and girls: Hip Hop in the Park is returning for its third year. As always, it’s held on a Saturday during the third week of May, also known as international Hip Hop Appreciation Week. (That’s Saturday, May 22nd!)

Graff artists, emcees, b-boys and DJs, you can start submitting your work here.

This year, we are doing two shows, Hip Hop in the Park and the 18+ event, Hip Hop in the Dark. All submissions must be received by March 15. Selections will be announced around the first week of April.

I probably won't be performing a concert set this year, but as I was the previous two years, will be volunteering and working hard to ensure that it remains the best annual hip hop event in Edmonton.
